Title: Ordering from banggood
Post by: ManashRaja on July 28, 2012, 08:42:07 PM
I was going to place my first order from an international website and I was confused about from where to buy the S107.

I spent days searching for a good website. I found Lightake. It was good but I don't know why I didn't like they way they put up their website. I was reluctant to buy from ebay as people warned about buying from ebay as I would get clones or fakes, (fake once delivered, is hard to send back and get refund).

Then I found Banggood and honestly I would say that the first time impression was good. They were selling at just around $18 with nearly $1 for worldwide registered airmail shipping. That was amazing. I paid through paypal and my product was dispatched within 24 hours as promised. I got the tracking and was able to see the progress of my first international order.

It reached me on the 20th day and was cleared from the customs without any hassle. Got it in a nice foam box with all the parts in good condition. The heli flew fantastic right out of the box after charging and I could feel the happiness of controlling the most stable 3ch heli ever. I would like to thanks BangGood for providing genuine (R5 board) product and for excellent customer service.

I shared my first time buying experience so that others can get help from my good experience. Now I am totally confident that I would not get fakes from them and so I am planning to buy a few more for my relatives.

Oh! The V911. That is an amazing heli. I am too planning to buy it nest after some time. I would suggest you to buy from banggood itself as they are selling it really cheap at just $ 40.55 with free Registered airmail shipping to India. Remember to ask them for declaring it as a gift with less value. You can get the heli in its own retail packet if you buy the retail packet with extra amount of around $ 4. But the foam package is not bad. You can have a look at these videos:-

If you would like to buy syma then look here

I wouldn't risk opening a site named 'www.banggood.com' when my family was around.  ;D The Chinese, evidently, need a rigorous lesson in the nuances of the English language............... :giggle:

Title: Ordering from banggood
Post by: Reva on October 23, 2013, 12:14:18 AM
Hi guys

First post here so please bear with me if this has been answered before - i did search the forums. I am planning to order a walkera w100s with a devo 4 tx costing around 110 usd plus a few spares of course.

I have read enough to know that banggood is reliable so not worried about that (totally open to other suggestions though) so my main concern is Indian customs. Would love to hear any experiences and suggestions you may have to ensure that my order actually reaches bombay.

Do i need to ask them to mark it as a gift? Im planning to ask a friend in the us to order for me so is that any cause for concern?

Any sort of help will be really appreciated.  ;D

Thanks

Being the first in this hobby I recommend you to use indian shops to avoid the custom hassle, otherwise your interest may die out at first. You can get a very good Indian shops list in our forum. check here.

I ordered a WLtoys V911 4-channel helicopter from banggood.com after reading on the internet and also rcindia about banggood. I got it today. BUt I ordered on 15th oct and my package was lost after few days in transit. Banggood customer service is great, they sent me another heli and it took 17 days to get it. Whereas, I also ordered a tail motor for it on 15th oct. I got it today after about 35 days.

SO moral- banggood is a reliable website, but shipping times vary and are long. If you are not worried about waiting times, u cna go ahead and order from banggood. They have the best prices and free shipping worldwide.

There is no problem at all with banggood.com. Its a trusted and reliable store. There will not be any problem, As long as you are ordering spare parts for helis/planes and micro RTF Helis. But the problem comes, when you order medium/large sized RTF Heli/plane/boat. The problem is with our Customs department. you really don't know how worst (worstest) is that department. There is no mother/father/point of contact for that department. Highly corrupted department.

Hello Guys
I had recently ordered a module and receiver from banggood. I ordered on 7th and it got shipped on 9th. I have not yet received the parcel. The tracking details are showing the same status from last 10 days.

What must be the problem?

@sripal.

Might be the problem is with SBI card.

Any way opening a paypal acc is very simple. just you have to pay 1$ as fee and you need give your pan card details.
link it to your debit or credit card and you are ready to go..

Title: Re: Ordering from banggood
Post by: SideWinder on July 11, 2014, 12:21:24 PM
Govt owned banks cards usually dont work on international payment gateways.Paypal too doesnt accept cards from these banks. They accept some cards from Icici.
But private bank debit/credit cards work if you are making direct payment. I have used Axis debit card at hobbyking and aliexpress. Also a SBI Visa Debit card.

PS: Maestro cards usually dont work too. Only Visa and Mastercard

Hello fellow members who took the risk and courage to order from Banggood aka BG as popularly known on other forums. At first I was pretty unsure about ordering anything from any chinese website like aliexpress because I heard that products never reach you or go missing. Mind you I have not yet received my WLtoys V977 BNF and Hubsan upgraded Quad also a BNF order placed 12.Nov so its too early to say. I was amazed by their customer support as well as the forum run by them - prompt and precise replies with a guaranteed refund (full amount  :headscratch:) if your product is lost or delayed  That said Im hoping I get my order soon. Requested for a slight under invoice as it was a little over $ 100 and they acknowledged gladly. No Lipos No Radio as I believe its a risk or adds to the delay. I would love to order Lipos in the future if not radios, has anyone ?

I too ordered from banggood on the 12th. One of the items I had ordered, I realized later, was out of stock, so I asked them to switch it to another item which was in stock, and they gladly did that. Plus from a lot of posts on their forums, I realized that they give you full refund if the item does not reach you in 30 days.

So the customer support is great. My parcels have left China, so they should be here soon.

does banggood accept only credit cards?
my axis visa and sbi gold visa international are not working. but i have used them on HK.
the cards are not "chip and pin" card. is this the reason for transaction failure?

thank you.

The main reason for card failures is weird rules of reserve bank, A card once worked may not be for next try :banghead:.
Better option is make a online virtual credit card to all your international purchases, no hassles !

NO, I mean virtual VISA credit cards like Entropay.

But Normal credit cards (VISA or MASTER) from almost all banks are supported - if you have one no problem - but it is hard to get a credit card .

Their free shipping sucks.. I placed order on November 13th.. After so many days of showing in transit, finally it's arrived Delhi if I am not wrong.. I don't know when it's gonna reach chennai customs and chennai customs takes nearly a month to dispatch.. Uff.. My previous consignment took 52 days to deliver from the day of shipping..

The best postal services in Far East was Hong Kong Post.
China Post sucks a BIG BIG time. Malaysian Post is even horrible story (even before their planes disappearing, parcels used to disappear regularly)

Sadly Hobby king , due to its malpractices misused the trust of HK Post by sending LiPo in packaged marked with "No-LiPo" . HK Post got into trouble with FAA/NTSB. So HK Post virtually banned Hobby King and may be similar Hobby shops.

Banggood usually sends package  thru China Post. so keep your patience. Our Customs have also become very finicky since June this year, so expect delays or even summon from them

I placed my first order from BangGood on Sunday. The value is about 20$ split in two parcels. The first one was shipped by registered air parcel on Monday though the tracking number does not seem active yet. One of the items I had ordered turned out to be out of stock so after dealing with their unresponsive live chat. I managed to get then to split the order. After one operator stopped responding I managed to catch hold of another one who was far more helpful. The important part will be shipped by registered airmail and the rest by normal airmail when it is back in stock.

Hmm Well Thats A problem now the one is which is out of stock when it gets in Stock gets shipped by Normal airmail that's unfair perhaps what you can do is that tell me that its my right as I have paid registered shipping fee so ship it by Registered post or unless get your money back because what I think is that Normail Airmail I have lost many items in that. That's why I am little always worried in that.

Aman.
