Title: Arduino based 4 Channel Rx & Tx
Post by: sandeepm on June 12, 2014, 05:12:30 PM
Hi,
If anybody interested in making his own 100 mtr distance tx and rx, check out May Month EFY (Electronics For You). the project is based on Arduino and you can control 3 servos and one esc with this.
Thanks
Sandeep

Nice, just went through it... replacing the 433 Mhz with a Frsky DIY module should be a simple way to extend the range... throwing out ppm

EFY content is copy write protected, How ever,as this is a perfect solution for beginners with low budget, I will upload the Details from the EFY -
The range of transmitter relys only on the radio module used, A 433 Mhz Transceiver gives 100 to 300 m range,
Where as a costly Xbee PRO gives 1.5K range, with antenna mod, even up to 20KM range can be achieved.
