hi,
I need to make it for an inter school event.
I have my car ready but i dont know about the circuit. i dont want to use RC Tx and Rx! Want to make it using normal circuits, but I am unable to find suitable circuit for this.
Well, there needs to be a Remote which can control the car. But it should be RF based!!
- my car is already ready( attached 4 motors and 4 wheels)
- i need a circuit ( Rx and Tx which can control 4 motors using one 12V battery and 1 motor- needs 1A current.)
please help me urgently
Thanks,
Rahul
use XBee
can u link a tutorial( if any)?
sorry I dont know much about these stuff but you can contact MUAV they have this stuff and may help you also.
and in tenth all these stuff wow I wish I was in New Era
Xbee? But why?
Use a normal RF module. search for ""RF 433 link.
Its much easier and cheaper and can give a max 200 meters range with a 1 meter antenna.
Buddy make one yourself, goto TalkingElectronics.com find 27Mhz linkz under find 1 channel transmitter circuit
its very simple, the same circuit can also work as receiver.. the range is around 100 meters, with the help of 4017 ic you can get 10 functions out of 1 channel.
ok, if i take normal 433mhz. what's the circuit schematic?

readymade kit is available for just 700 free shipping.
Dont try soldering those rf boards, they go down with little extra temperature. hope these kits were available during my college days.
okay here is the schematics if you want.

Price breakup:
rf module 350rs
Ht 12e &Ht 12d pair 150 rs.
Switch, PCB,resistor battery clip 150 rs.
You better buy it from ebay.

If you have the budget here's flutter wireless:
http://www.flutterwireless.com (http://www.flutterwireless.com)
Here's their kickstarter vid:

Xebee is too costly
2k or sum thin for the module I think. And gives like 300-400 mtrs range.
@V2 eagle- where do i put the switches here, and the l298 motor controller?
@RCneil- i want it urgently, and my budget is low!
Here...
By using these address pins effectively you can have up to 128 parallel data channel in this module with a range of 100 meter with just a meter long whip antenna.

great. going with this now! i am gonna use l298n/ l298 motor controller, will the schematic remain same?
Havent worked with that earlier.
Why dont you use the L293d.
I do not use even an extra resistor with that chip.
just 12v direct to the IC without any regulation and it wont even warm up.

Take this site for any reference:
http://www.pyroelectro.com/ (http://www.pyroelectro.com/)
l293d has max 700mA current. i want to send 800mA to 2 motors connected in parallel, so i need more current ( about2A per channel). that's why l298
Can you post a pic of those motors that you are going to use?
there are various schematics available online for RF Tx-Rx systems.
One easy way out is there( jugaard ), buy a 300-400INR RC car n scavenge its parts
Good luck with ur project mate
@V2 eagle- here https://c10645061.ssl.cf2.rackcdn.com/product/icongo/icg_739530_txdcgearmotor.jpg
rumblePirate- how do and where do i put the l298 motor controller on that cheap rc car?
4 motors? Skid steer?
yes! finally i did that RF setup. will upload a pic.
I bought a RF kit and a motor controller board powered via relays
