Hi all, I had this 5MP mini HD cam (6.5 gm) , which accidentally hit an object. Now the red led(? Diode) doesn't blink anymore, only the blue one blinks, and so not recording. Please find the attached image and your suggestions whether I'll be able to repair it. Thanks. ( it is located above "D1&D2 in the board's right upper corner.)

Whats damaged ? The led or something else

Led. I took it to a local electronic shop, but they don't have any idea.

Are you sure that the only damaged part is the LED ? Since LED is just an indicator for recording i don't think that it's causing the recording trouble . If you are sure that it's only because of the LED the best way is to get a LED strip and take one LED from it and solder it in that place ( take care of the polarity )
