I am using st360 quad for fpv but unable to get GOOD range or video flikkers a lot after 200 meters .....see pics ....
Mountung info .....
Video tx is rear side of quade using two cameras with video switcher one is mobius and other one is board fpv Camera .... both antennas are in straight Up position .....Made a diy cheap fpv goggle and attached receiver to it .... I am using different power sources to power motor and video tx....
But still CAN not figure out what is wrong with video quality and range .... MY boscam 400mw syatem is in. GOOD condition ...never switched it ON without antenna ....till now I didn't even crossed 6 story Building hight but ....video signal gets flikery. ... does Mobile towers are the cause? ?? PLEASE all quad fpv flyers who did long range flying with quad Help me out here .......I don't know were to look for the fault or how to correct video reception ....will placing video receiver little higher and give a seperation between 2.4 ghz transmitter and 5.8 ghz will Help or not ..... I have no clue what is going ON with range by tx capacity I read everywhere that it shoud give atleast 1 km of cristal clear video signal but that is not happening
I also did a groud range test with it ... groud range was GOOD .... more then 500 meters but Up in air with quad not SO GOOD video reception??? What should I check for
And I want to know how ferrite ring CAN Help to improve signal ...don't know how and where to use them
My 900mhz 800mw video tx with stock wip antina on my quad get clear line of sight range is 4km
ferrite core is not increse the range its using in power line positve wire for stop humming
How to get clear video on 5.8 ghz ...does 2.4 ghz radio causes any interference ON 5.8 ghz band
How you set Up your quad with 900mhz ..... I saw lots of videos saying 900mhz is not good inside City limits .... every radio controlled thig CAN interfer with 900 mhz signal ....???
Stay away from 900 Mhz if are flying in city areas as a Mobile repeater tower can knock your signal down...
Are you powering you fpv gear with the same battery?
If yes are you using a LC filter?
If no, is your video feed line near the power line?
what kind of power lines
regular power line which power houses in a colony or big ones??
yes there are power power lines in near vicinity but still they are atleast 50-100 meters away???
any more suggestions????
oohhh video feed line of video tx????
i will check that :hatsoff:
Sorry you got me wrong i dint mean those power lines :giggle:(My bad i dint write it clearly! :banghead:).The wires on the quad carrying the current are those near the video line?
i will check that how far they should be to each other???
Try to keep them as away as you can from each other or if there is a metallic substance between them even that would do!
ok i will try that .... post you what results i got :hatsoff:
