Hi mates,

I am looking for DIY voltage booster for converting 3.7 v to 9 v. This booster has to power a micro centrifugal pump which consumes power of 6W.

So I need a voltage booster of rating atleast 10W. I have 1s1p lithium ion battery with 2500 mah and it can continuously deliver up to 2C.

I have seen many YouTube videos who are making voltage boosters using toroidal coil, mosfet, resistor, capacitors etc. But I suspect they are not rated for 10W power. Also I tried voltage booster boards bought from Amazon (Pl. see the attached pics) are not working for motors. But they are working for lighting loads.

Please suggest me a DIY boards for boosting 3.7 v to 9 v with power rating of at-least 10W.

Hello Samayaraj,

XL6009E1 may not work as minimum input voltage is 5volts to maximum 32volts.

This seems optimum for my requirement. I will try for sure once the stock arrives back.
