Rx--->Relay--->CornLED Adaptor--->Corn LED
is fine.

cant find any use with this
http://www.hobbyking.com/.../__43733__115mm_Male_JST_SH_1... (http://www.hobbyking.com/.../__43733__115mm_Male_JST_SH_1...)
between this.

also you need to give power to relay input.

ALSO, for these , I have the Y-Splitter cables for servos, If i use them , it should work right ???

power to relay(for switching) will take from rx,
but you need to provide power for led through the other lead(you can see two leads other than rx connector, one of them is power in from batttery/bec and other is power out to led)

i think i got it ..

mentioning what i am going to do.

Buying things:

Servo Y-Splitter cables.

I will connect the BEC the way it is seen in the video.

Will use Y-Cable to connect the JST adaptors which are in-turn  connected to the LEDs.

Correct ?

No issues here right ?

If i buy this ???

this one only outputs 5/6V and selected  led is 12V this combination will not work

so better is previous combination with http://www.hobbyking.com/.../__40044__Turnigy_TX... (http://www.hobbyking.com/.../__40044__Turnigy_TX...)

OH !!! ...

so i have to choose LED which dont use more than 6v ???
Title: Re: Need help with connections..
Post by: parichya.gautam on February 24, 2015, 01:42:46 AM
or is there something similar which can power the 12v LEDS ??

I just need something that I can control from my Tx ...
Title: Re: Need help with connections..

for 12v power, if you are goind to use with 3s battery then take power direct from battery.
Title: Re: Need help with connections..
Post by: parichya.gautam on February 24, 2015, 01:47:04 AM
yes i will be using a dedicated LiPo for the LEDs ( same battery that i will be using for my FPV system )

with that it will work ??
Title: Re: Need help with connections..
Post by: akhilzid on February 24, 2015, 01:48:53 AM
yes that should work.
Title: Re: Need help with connections..
Post by: parichya.gautam on February 24, 2015, 01:50:44 AM
oh !! ..

let me confirm it once again ..

if I connect it to my 3s LiPo , then the LEds will work ? they will get 11.1v ??
Title: Re: Need help with connections..
Post by: akhilzid on February 24, 2015, 01:57:11 AM
yes you are correct,

to be clear about connection check attached image.

Post by: parichya.gautam on February 24, 2015, 01:59:03 AM
... you mean this ?

I thought you were talking about the Dr Mad Thrust one ??

Please confirm, DMT or the turnigy one ?

Once again, will connect to my 3 LiPo
Title: Re: Need help with connections..
Post by: akhilzid on February 24, 2015, 02:10:11 AM
that depends on led power.

For 5/6v(up to 2amps) LED use DMT

turnigy relay controlled one can power any thing under 60W but you need to provide proper power to input of the relay(that act like a normal switch between input and output).

ok .. so if powered by the lipo , there shouldnt be any issues right ??

Title: Re: Need help with connections..
Post by: akhilzid on February 24, 2015, 02:21:28 AM
simply no. they shouldn't work.
Title: Re: Need help with connections..
Post by: parichya.gautam on February 24, 2015, 02:25:08 AM
then I have 4 JST Female connectors ( http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__43056__130mm_Corn_Light_Adapter_With_JST_Female_Connector.html (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__43056__130mm_Corn_Light_Adapter_With_JST_Female_Connector.html) )

to be connected to the LED part of the Relay ... how do you do that ?? Can you point out to some harness if any from HobbyKing ??

THIS CAN WORK ?? !! :D .. no ?
Title: Re: Need help with connections..

relay(in Reply #15) ---> connector(in Reply #23) ----> LED

this should work, no need of anything extra between this connection.

connector in Reply #24 can be used to connect lipo to Relay power input.
