Yes this will work and you could even flash your esc with simonk too! :hatsoff:

thanks .. I bought new ESCs some time ago ( from quadkopters.com ) pre-flashed with simonK  :)

No problem even i need one have been using arduino instead of USBASP to flash my esc!  :hatsoff:

One thing i wanted to ask, this model has a female port at the end, how will I use it on the 9xr radio .. ? I didnt see any male port there ... or am i missing something .. ?

The 9XR has male programming pins at the bottom along with the jack for internal charging (not recommended BTW). You will have to open a cover to find it. You will also need a 10 to 6 pin adapter as both the 9XR and the kk 2.1 have 6 pins for programming. It will if you buy the USBASP you linked to earlier as well since what you posted is just the adapter board. Plus, they charge for shipping so it would be cheaper and easier to buy the one I posted since that comes with the USBASP and adpater
