Title: Kevlar tow and tape source in India

Anyone know if kevlar tow or tape is available locally? The Drela Bubble Dancer needs it.

Use fibreglass tape - available in motor rewinding shops
While not as strong as Kevlar - it will make an adequate substitute

Thanks bro. Will do as advised if I can't get hold of it. Unfortunately all of Professor Mark Drela's designs specify kevlar over FG.

The Bubble Dancer RES specifies 3K Kevlar tow or 1K Kevlar thread.  Other builders have used 3/16" wide Kevlar tow ribbon. Anything in the vicinity will do. If you stock them, then also resins, fillers, hardeners.

Not sure about 3k and 1k twill,but yesterday asked my vendor ! till no reply! will find out with other vendor and get back to you!
