hello
can anyone help me for my first quad project
i want help in selecting TX RX set
so suggest me .... tnx :help:
which flight controller you are using??
A 6 channel radio is enough for a basic quad with a flight controller like the kk 2.1 Good 6 channel options are the Avionic RCB6i (Rs. 3000) and the FlySky T6 (Rs. 4200). For future scalability or working with advanced flight controllers like APM, 9 channels is recommended. You could invest in a good radio like the FlySky 9x (Rs. 6000) or Turnigy 9X/9XR/9XR Pro (Rs. 7200-11000) or even better, the FrSky Taranis (Rs. 18000 or so) and not have to buy another radio ever again (unless you want to go for fancy Futabas or something)
You can Get a Flysky - FS-T6 from www.rcmumbai.com (//http://) for 4200 /-
This radio is perfect for beginners in planes or multirotors :)
But they are out of stock.
Nope, now it is out of stock ??? ,
I just checked today morning !!!
Well you can contact Chintal sir on this forum, to ask about the availability of this item (He is owner of rcmumbai.com)
Well for the Radio, SK1701 has suggested the best ones out there in market :)
For making a decision on which Tx is best for you, we need answers, for these,
1) Purpose of this quad .?
2) Flight controller you plan to use ?
3) Features you want in your quad ?
4) And last but important,your budget ?
Well my budget around 12000
And I m using kk2.1 control board
And also suggest me motor and ESC ..
Can this be used for a basic quadcopter?

It is a 6 channel fully programmable Tx Rx set. Also please explain what is this 'mode 2'?
Wanted.. Avionic RCB6i (2.4Ghz 6ch transmitter with receiver)
Mode 2 means that throttle and rudder (yaw) is on the left stick and aileron and elevator (roll and pitch) are on the right stick. The Avionic RCB6i from RCBazaar has a slider at the back and can work in all 4 modes. See this: http://www.rc-airplane-world.com/rc-transmitter-modes.html (http://www.rc-airplane-world.com/rc-transmitter-modes.html) Buying radios from international sellers is a bad idea since there are usually customs issues. I would not recommend the transmitter you posted a link to. It is best to buy one with an LCD screen for easy programming.
@Manish is 12000 for the whole quad or just the transmitter? At that price I would recommend a Turnigy 9XR Pro with FrSky module. If you can stretch it, I think the Taranis is an amazing radio. 6 channels is enough for the kk 2.1 but I think you will want to move on soon since the kk has limited functionality. Choosing motors and ESCs depends on factors like:
1. Planned purpose of the quad
2. Expected AUW (all up weight)
3. Budget
and other factors as well.
@Maneesh, For a beginner, I would suggest 2212 1000Kvor lov BLDC motors, and SimonK 30A ESC.
Both are available at dirt cheap rates on ebay.com
@gouthamshama, Yes that 6Ch radio is fine, But Any one wont recommend buying radios outside India due to todays customs hassles,
You should buy your radio from India, But I would recommend go for a radio with LCD, as it's easy to setup while in the field, you can go for either Flysky FS-T6 or RCB6i(Which is outta stock for a while).
Or If you are on very tight budget go for a Flysky ct6B (Same as in the HK link)
Available at rcuniversal.in
Hi hi :giggle:, are you changing your mind every second while someone suggests some thing new ???
Well what you need is a beginner friendly radio that is cheap isn't it,
Then under 5000,
Flysky T6 and Avionic RCB6i are the best options,
If you plan to put the quad to professional uses, then you may want to upgrade your radio, nowhere you mentioned the actual use of the quad you are planning to make, though I asked it several times !!
@Maneesh, just noticed this topic is posted in 'wanted' board, this actually belongs to 'Multirotors' board, so please move this thread to there, Let's avoid a little burden to the admins :)
Do I need to pay anything extra for the customs at time of purchase? Or will they block and ask money for my parcel from entering India? Just to know.....
You may go for fs-t6.Very good beginners radio.
This could also belong in the "Beginner's Zone' board. Anyways, about the customs, they will probably charge duty on your parcel and send it on its way. I am not sure how they value RC parts. Your parcel may be stopped if you have any radio equipment in it. You will then be asked to produce a NOC (no objection certificate) from the WPC (wireless planning commission)
NO,NO, NOoo radio Impot to India!! , dude . Why you want trouble ???
Get your radio from LHS, getting from abroad will cost you a Heck ,and also there is very rare chances for you to get it out of customs, whatever you agree to pay - this is because current govt. regulations.
Don't judge by the lowest price in Hobbyking - me too first dropped my jaw on seeing that :) , Adding shipping and customs charges , the price at LHS is lower than that, Also chances of getting the radio is very very low if imported :( , So why do you want to take that risk ???
what is LHS?

@sooraj.palakkad,Thank You very much!!!
No mention dude, Get yourselves a FS-T6 or any similar radio, cheapestfrom any of those LHSs, Don't try to import, and get in trouble.
But If you have to buy motors and ESC and other h/w, ebay.com is cheapest - these items are not affected by customs you can save a lot of money there :)
