This is one store but the inventory is do HUGE that i cannot find the component there.
;)
For the curious people out there:
I am planning to do a simple flashing circuit with it for my model railroad after my exams.
if all you want to do is flash leds - consider using a 555 which is available
in every neighbourhood
I want to use it in the given circuit digram:

Would the wiring be the same?
no - different circuit ... but just as easy
google for ' 555 led flasher circuit '
all right!
Will do.
Thanks!
I usually buy electronic parts from Electron Components. They have the IC you're looking for here (http://www.electroncomponents.com/LM3909-LED-Flasher?filter_name=LM3909). However, as Saikat sir said a 555 timer is much easier to find. I actually soldered up a 555 blinker circuit for one of my schoolmates and it is quite a simple circuit.
EDIT: My bad looks like it is out of stock. Take a look at this (http://www.555-timer-circuits.com/flashing-led.html) for an idea on how to make the circuit with a 555 timer. I could solder one up for you if you're interested since I probably have all the parts lying around.
Sir;
Electron components is my usual electronic store.
Everything i buy is from there.
Ill look up on the 555 circuit.
Thanks for your help.
I you just want to flash LED , flashing LED it self is available ! Not sure whether it's avail able locally
they flash too fast.
I want something suitable for
Here the circuit could go under the layout with only the led on the top.
Once again; flashing leds are tooo fast
