This will be too much for my son. I am looking for a basic  Tx. I know Tx is a one time investment but i would prefer a second hand Tx. If not available, low cost NIB.

@vishwasvm,

I’ll try to pack it nicely and despatch on Monday or Tuesday.

Meanwhile, in case you are a newcomer to RC, here are a few precautionary notes:

1. The negative terminals in the Rx are the ones closest to the edge. So when you plug servos into the Rx, the darkest wire will go closest to the edge. See pic.

2. Do not plug a battery directly into the Rx. If you are using an electric motor and ESC, the cable from the ESC plugged into Ch 3 (throttle) will power the Rx

3. If not using electric motor and ESC, you need to power the Rx via the Battery port. Do not use more than a 4.8v NiMH battery

4. Though the Tx is 4 ch, the Rx that comes with it is actually 6 ch.
(Only after quoting you the price did I discover that the Rx alone costs Rs 1250, from Robu.in  :banghead:)

5. While setting up the system in your model, REMOVE THE PROP!
This is to avoid a nasty shock when you connect the battery.

6. The Tx is Mode 2, ie, throttle is on left stick. Channels are 1 for aileron, 2 for elevator, 3 for throttle/ESC, 4 for rudder. There are reversing switches in case the control surfaces move opposite to the desired direction. Currently set for demo on my model. You may need to change the normal/reverse setting for your model, on aileron, elevator or rudder.

7. The normal/reverse switch is currently set so that with the left stick held LOW, the motor will not run, and with the left stick held high, the motor will be on full power. This is with my motor/ESC setup. In your setup, low left stick may be full power, in which case you’ll have to reverse it. That’s why you should NOT have a prop on the motor while setting up.

Please excuse me if you already know all this stuff. Only sharing in case you are a newcomer, when it’s better to be safe than sorry!

Regards

Thank you Sir.
I do not want to put you in loss. You can suitably revise the price upwards. I won't mind.

I  greatly appreciate your words of advice. They are really important for a newbie like me and my son.

Please provide your banking details by PM or WA.

Regards
Vishwas
