I want a Building kit of balsa wood for making a glider having approx 1000 mm wingspan i want to buy it in bunch of 50 to 60 or even more or single also.
50 or 60... Are you organizing some workshop?
Check this...

Yes it is for workshop and can i get cheaper than this :headscratch: :headscratch:
Cause it will be expensive :Rs:
Just a suggestion, since it is a workshop, then you should go for foamies instead of balsa kits... Balsa kits require atleast intermediate level skills for building and flying.. Also, these are not very much crash proof. I too had organised a workshop few days back, so I know how the beginners respond and work.
Also, foam planes would cost you very low as compared to balsa...
Contact 'VC' bhaiya(member here). He might be able to help you.

@pateldixit58
Maybe what you need is a Mercury Gnome by Ron Young from 1952.
Which we got from India's Hobby Centre in 1968 or so...
Maybe they still have some...
Search for it. Your search will be joyous!
Also try Sharma Model Aero in Jodhpur. Vivek Sharma is on this forum.
(Since you seem to be 1958 born, presume you know stuff like auto rudder, circle tow etc)
Regards

Not busy, I'm attending a funeral. Will be back in action around the 18th. Please call me then, I have exactly what you need.
You may try calling up Vishal Sharma of Sharma Models.... he has a few glider kits in his stable..... It could be good for you....
Please call me tomorrow after 6pm. I am open to bulk orders (20+) only. Even though I have many plans for 1000 mm span gliders,my manufacturer won't cut single pieces.
Thank you VC sir :hatsoff:

La Mouette, Aeromodeller Dec 1960 free plan.
Available on outerzone.
VC Sir,
For the un initiated (me) can we see pictures of gliders that you mentioned above
I assume if pateldixit58 goes ahead then your manufacturer won't mind cutting one or two more kits, if yes I am in line.
Sorry Boss, you will have to google the pictures as I have none with me at the moment. If the order is through, sure I can get extra pieces organised.
Regards.
it will be nice to have some extra pieces.. (:|~
Deal did not work out. Anyone interested please contact me via PM, let me see what I can do as far as individual orders are concerned. No promises.
Well I have a Blue Print of the great La Mouette Two Line Glider....... it was always a pleasure to fly it.... Must have made about a dozen of them in my younger days....
VC sir,
I need a glider that i can put a electric system and fly for at least 15 mins continuous, should be a bird of time.
No hurry, just one piece needed and i can wait any longer. Just add me to the queue and let me know when you have any.

NCC1 80cm Span Towline Glider - Perfect for those have made Chuck gliders @ Rs. 950/-
Mercury Magpie - 61 cm span Towline Glider - @ Rs.800/-
NCC2 100cm Span Towline Glider - @ Rs. 1050/-
Mercury Gnome 81.5cm Span Towline Glider - @ Rs. 1150/-
The magpie can be converted to electric. The gnome cant be converted to electric as for the NCC 1 and NCC 2 , VC Ji will be able to tell more about those
Thanks for inputs..
Hello VC sir
Count me in for Mercury Magpie if NCC's are not compatible.
Thanks
Manufacturer may not be willing to make any extra modifications for small orders (below 15 models). In that case the models will be available as intended for (Tow Line Gliders) and the buyers will have to make necessary modifications for mounting motors and servos. I'm trying to arrange for pictures of NCC1 and 2. The other models may be viewed on Google.
Im too okay with a magpie VC sir.
Ashok.P
Can the Inchworm be converted to electric?
Is it possible to get one with a Wing span of 100cm, at 158 it looks too big for me to handle :-\
Mercury Magpie & Mercury Gnome Glider pics from net
Though it looks more like a profile type fuselage,
A 24 gram outrunner with 15A ESC with 800mah 2s should give plenty of fun.
Just put all the electronics outside the body.

Hope you guys have seen a Magpie or Martin or Gnome or Inchworm.
Before you consider an RC conversion. There will be issues...
If you want space for a radio and a motor, and adequate size to carry the extra weight, consider a model called the Grebe.
VC Sir or Shobit may remember this model.
We were using a Cox .049 instead of noseweight in 1970...
:)
I remember those wonderful .049 COXs :))
