i orderd stuff from hobby king
my tracking number is RC000173641MY
on 21/12/13 the status was last updated showing "Return item from customs (Inb)"
the the status as not been updated
i even called my loacl post office they conformied that they have not recieved my parcel yet
please help
wher can my parcel be ?

Retention reason : Articles importation subject to restrictions import- license .
If these is no means than it will reach you soon

please tell me what does it mean
and can i go to fpo and collect it
will i have to pay any duty ?

Hey chintal as these are semi restricted items as it is mentioned here so dont go there or collect it just wait and never call the customs in these type of cases ok .
Dont get worry it means that It is restricted items and it requires Import license but dont worry your parcel will reach you and second thing you may get charged duty but thats no confirm so lets hope this it arrives soon because 'Return items from customs' means I think they handing it to the courier to deliver it you so be patient you will recieve it

and bluetooth module and oled display module total cost 68$
so what is not allowed in this ?

But here I mean it it gets into customs then along with customs u also get charges octroi duty which gets applicable for anything getting into India and if courier company has their warehouses outside octroi limits, this is for sure in Maharashtra/Mumbai not sure about other cities.

went to customs returned from customs
will go to fpo and then to Lpo and then arrive

I got three tracking numbers.. RQ215375036SG,EE186040214FJ,RC000409529MY..

EE186040214FJ is the major one worth $383, which has all parts required for a quadcopter including a TURNIGY 9X RADIO TX/RX..

That's my first oder in HK and I'm newbie to RC Hobbies.. I'm afraid, that parcel will be detained by customs, as it had a TX/RX.. Shipped via EMS and sent through Freipost from Fiji..

Here are the tracking results.. CAN ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME WHERE MY PARCELS ARE AND I DONT UNDERSTAND ALL THOSE TERMINOLOGIES..

Well... still HK says that the tracking number will be updated soon?Huh??? how soon is anybody's guess i think...  I only hope it is shipped and on the way... it is already 17 days now....  Today have lodged a formal complaint with Hobby King for the same.  Lets see what happens.

no none of the orders were on back order... though the ones on JIT list were collected within 3 days at their shipping center.  Despite haveing complained and recieved a promise that the tracking number will be given within 24 hours... still no news from Hobby Kind.... please tell me what should I do

Guys i have sent a message to hobbyking about delays in tracking numbers.
@ Shobhit as it contains a Tx/rx there will be some problems .

And guys thats true if your tx is coming by fedex be tension free because you will recieve it,if by others than there is sone problem .

If I order 3 pairs of CW and CCW 3 blade propellers from HobbyKing costing Rs.600 and ship it thorugh registered air mail...will I be charged with import duty? It is for personal use btw...

@aman manish orderd 3tx from hk through airmail got all of them
and paid a custom duty of only 500rs !
how did that happen ?
was it luck or is it safe to order through airmail also ?

Actually Its very safe to order tx from airmail because there is less chances getting caught on this.Sometimes it is luck too.

no my order doen not contain any Tx or Rx.  It just contains electrical motors, ESCs (two each), Lippos qty 3 and servos. thats all.... nothing too attractive.
